Keya Johnson, MSW, LCSW, CCTP, CSOTP

So, this the part where I tell you a little bit about me and my therapeutic approach/style. My style is unlike your typical therapist. I believe in being real, authentic, and approachable, which also means that at times I can have a potty mouth. I don't believe that therapy should be this clinical or stale experience that you dread. Instead my goal is to provide you with an experience that incorporates humor, empathy, and compassion while helping you to navigate this beautiful but very complex thing we call life and the challenges that come along with it.

My belief is that is collaborative process in which both myself and the client must work together for lasting results. I use an integrative and eclectic therapeutic approach according to the unique needs of each of my clients to empower them to take control of their lives. Rather than adopting one methodology for all individuals and issues, I draw from a variety of methods to create a tailored approach for each individual and situation. My therapy sessions are very interactive, fun, and most importantly insightful. My job is to get you to where YOU want to be!
